Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons (short story)

Summary[[edit] | [edit source]]
On the front page of TV 21, Pete Tracker introduces Captain Scarlet, who the new Spectrum Security Organisation claim to be indestructible.
Tracker explains that, at least according to Spectrum file CS/M/1/67, Scarlet was killed in a motor accident and brought back to life by the Mysterons. Under their control, he proceeded to stage an assassination attempt on the World President but fell eight hundred feet in the process. However, instead of being killed, Scarlet quickly recovered from his injuries and ceased to be under the Mysteron influence.
Tracker reiterates this is Spectrum's story. He clarifies he doesn't believe it to be true but states that events will eventually prove who is correct.
