The Marsh Dalek was a variation on the standard Dalek model.
Characteristics
Employed to patrol swamps, the Marsh Daleks were structurally different from the standard model. They looked like cans balanced on thin stilt legs. They lacked the usual manipulator arm, and had a gunstick positioned in the centre of its cylindrical body. (COMIC: Monsters of Gurnian)
History
In 2400, Marsh Daleks on Gurnian were responsible for keeping the local wildlife under control, but the creatures of Gurnian proved to be a match for the Daleks. At least one Marsh Dalek had fallen prey to a horrorkon. (COMIC: Monsters of Gurnian)
During the 26th century, an irregular army fought Marsh Daleks in the Flova trenches. They brought them down by shooting at the legs with high-impulse carbines. (PROSE: Lungbarrow)
Marsh Daleks were in the Spiridon section of the Dalek Dome. They were presumably destroyed when their psychoplasm was used to fuel the Golden Emperor's Daleks in an adjacent Skaro zone. (COMIC: Liberation of the Daleks)
