Behind the scenes

Main article: TV & Satellite Week
Real world version of the cover seen in The Star Beast [+]Loading...["The Star Beast (TV story)"].

Although not named in full in The Star Beast [+]Loading...["The Star Beast (TV story)"], the magazine was visibly the 7-13 May 2022 issue of TV & Satellite Week, featuring the image of presenters Holly Willoughby and Freddie Flintoff from The Game, and actress Claire Danes from The Essex Serpent.[1]

As The Star Beast has an intended setting of 2023, the issue used could simply be interpreted as a general, in-universe representation of the magazine itself, as opposed to the specific issue used, or that the Nobles had an older issue in their home.
