George Harrison was the lead guitarist from the Beatles, an English rock band from the 1960s. (PROSE: The Left-Handed Hummingbird, COMIC: Forever Dreaming)

Biography

He was recording an album at Abbey Road when the Fifteenth Doctor and Ruby Sunday watched a session. (TV: The Devil's Chord [+]Loading...["The Devil's Chord (TV story)"])

Harrison and the other Beatles performed their song "Ticket to Ride" on the 13 May 1965 instalment of Top of the Pops. The First Doctor and his companions Vicki Pallister, Ian Chesterton and Barbara Wright watched it via the Time-Space Visualiser. (TV: The Chase) According to one account which claimed that the Visualiser was a hoax, the people seen on the Visualiser were not the genuine historical figures but human slaves of the Pursuer-Daleks who were made to re-enact the event as a deception for the Doctor and his companions. (PROSE: Dalek Survival Guide)

By January 1970, Harrison had released multiple solo albums, including Electronic Sound. His recent solo work suggested he was on a different musical path as the other members and convinced some that the group would split very soon. (PROSE: Night of the Intelligence)

The Second Doctor once claimed that he suggested Harrison consult with Maharishi Mahesh Yogi on spiritual matters. (PROSE: Wonderland)

In 2015, Helena described Harrison as "sex on legs". (PROSE: In Search of Doctor X)

Other realities

In an alternate timeline created by Lenny Kruger in which the Common Men rose to prominence in place of the Beatles, Harrison never pursued a musical career, and was instead apprenticed to his father. (AUDIO: 1963: Fanfare for the Common Men)
