Anne of Denmark

Queen Anne of Denmark was the wife and consort of King James I.

Biography[[edit] | [edit source]]

During the preparations for the opening of the Houses of Parliament, as well as the events of the foiled Gunpowder Plot, Queen Anne and her children were not in London, a fact which Sir Robert Cecil considered worsened her husband's tendancy for late night escapades (PROSE: The Plotters)

With her husband, she attended the first performance of William Shakespeare's play Macbeth. (PROSE: The Empire of Glass) James had several children, including the future king Charles I, Henry (PROSE: The Roundheads) and Elizabeth. (GAME: The Gunpowder Plot)
