On 23 February, the following important behind-the-scenes events were known to have occurred:
- 1970 - John Levene was hired to return as UNIT corporal John Benton in The Mole-Bore (later Inferno), now more of a regular in the series and promoted to a sergeant.
- 1999 - Filming for The Curse of Fatal Death took place at Pinewood Studios. (DWM 560)
- 2002 - Big Finish's Sarah Jane Smith story Test of Nerve was recorded at the Moat Studios.
- 2006 - The final draft script for Love & Monsters was produced. (DWMSE 14)
- 2009 - The second series of Big Finish's audio series Cyberman was recorded at the Moat Studios.
- 2018 - The Big Finish audio stories The Planet of Witches and The Quest of the Engineer were recorded.
- 2021 - Big Finish's audio anthology Old Friends and Torchwood - Monthly Range audio story Madam, I'm were recorded remotely.
