- December 25, 2058 - First (and only) Christmas on Mars. The crew had to eat dehydrated protein.
- November 21, 2059 - The Flood attacked the Base, infecting Andrew Stone, Margaret Cain, Tarak ital, Steffi Ehrlich, Roman Groom and Ed Gold, so Captain Adelaide Brooke activated Action Five and destroyed it. The only survivors were Mia Bennett and Yuri Kerenski, who were rescued by the Tenth Doctor. The Doctor also saved Adelaide but, rejecting him, she shot herself to make time right. Actions
- Action 1 - Base evacuation, initially ordered by Adelaide Brooke after the infection was detected
- Action 5 - The Captain would arm, and detonate, a nuclear device, destroying the base.
Behind the scenes
- It was most likely named after David Bowie as a reference to his song "Life on Mars".
