• 1 - When the Third Doctor is exiled to Earth to protect it from future alien threats, he is restricted to travel earlier then this date due to his exile by the Time Lord council until the First and Second Doctor helped him end it. (DW: The War Games)
• 22 - Queen Victoria died on the Isle of Wight. A comment by the Fourth Doctor led Sarah Jane Smith to believe the Queen was one of his companions, though he was more probably referring to Victoria Waterfield. (DW: Pyramids of Mars) The Doctor was present at Victoria's coronation. (DW: The Curse of Peladon) Victoria's death marked the end of the eponymous Victorian era of Earth's history.
  • Victoria's son Edward VII ascended the throne of Great Britain and Ireland. Some time during his reign (1901-1910), a Rutan invasion of Earth was averted by the Doctor at the Fang Rock lighthouse. (DW: Horror of Fang Rock)

• 12 - While on an expedition to the ruins of Babylon, time sensitive linguist John Lafayette stumbled across a time path to Babylon, circa 570 B.C. (BNA: Walking to Babylon)

• An English author began writing stories for The Ensign, a magazine for young boys. He would later vanish into the Land of Fiction and become the Master of the Land. (DW: The Mind Robber)
• The first British submarine was launched. (DW: Enlightenment)
• Jack Harkness, who had been buried alive under Cardiff since 27 AD, was recovered by Alice Guppy and the Torchwood Cardiff team when they received a signal from a transmitter hidden on Jack by John Hart. To avoid a paradox of meeting his younger self, who at this time was on an assignment, Jack asked to be cryo-preserved until he caught up to his proper timeline in 2009. (TW: Exit Wounds)
