Mata Hari was a Dutch dancer and alleged German spy during the First World War. The Eleventh Doctor had an encounter with her in a Paris hotel, where she removed her clothes in front of him. The Doctor told Amy Pond and Rory Williams that he found her "very interesting", he was married to their daughter at the time. (WC: Pond Life)
