Tegan joined the doctor after her aunt Vannessa was turned into a doll by the master. she got lost in the TARDIS whn she entered thinking it was a real police box.she became very good friends with Nyssa and was distraught after Adrics death and Nyssa's leaving the TARDIS crew.
