- January - The Wrong Doctors, The Flames of Cadiz and The Auntie Matter were released by Big Finish.
- 3 January - Hunters of Earth was first released by AudioGO
- 7 January - DVD box set The Legacy, including Shada and More than Thirty Years in the TARDIS, was released.
- 23 January - A Big Hand for the Doctor was first published by Puffin Books.
- 27 January - The Doctors Revisited - The First Doctor was first broadcast on BBC America, followed by a rebroadcast of First Doctor story The Aztecs.
- 28 January - The Reign of Terror was released on DVD. The release included animated reconstructions of the missing episodes.
- 29 January - Part one of Prisoners of Time was released on iTunes.
- February - Spaceport Fear, The Sands of Life and House of Cards were first released by Big Finish.
- February - Series five of Gallifrey was first released by Big Finish.
- 7 February - Shadow of Death was released by AudioGO.
- 24 February - The Doctors Revisited - The Second Doctor was first broadcast on BBC America, followed by a rebroadcast of Second Doctor story The Tomb of the Cybermen.
