Earth's moon, also known as Luna, was visited multiple times by the Doctor in almost all his incarnations. The Moon was also the destination of the first off-planet human expedition on 20 July 1969 — this moon landing being witnessed by the Tenth Doctor and Martha four consecutive times, and interrupted by an oft-remembered message from the Silence, recorded by the Eleventh Doctor.
The Moon itself was also home to several military bases, including one belonging to UNIT Moonbase and another to the International Space Command.
Locations come in all shapes and sizes. But we've made it exceedingly difficult to figure out how to start looking up locations. Just go to category:locations, and start working your way down.

Sometimes, you want to look at places in terms of whether a specific incarnation of the Doctor has visited there.
