The Pertwee Years

The Pertwee Years was a video showcasing episodes from Jon Pertwee's time as the Doctor. It was presented by Jon Pertwee and contained the following full episodes:
- Inferno Episode 7 (full story released on video in 1994)
- Frontier in Space Episode 6 ( full story released on video in 1995)
- The Dæmons Episode 5 (Black and white telerecording, later colourized and full story released on video in 1993)
as well as clips from Spearhead from Space, Blue Peter, The Doctor Who celebration at Longleat, The Five Doctors and title sequence tests.
Behind the Scenes
- This was the third of a series of videos produced by John Nathan-Turner intended to release rare episodes and incomplete serials, as well as interviews and other extras that wouldn't have seen a video release at the time.
- At the time of release, the video was handled in the UK by BBC Enterprises, the Australasian release by Polygram and the American release by CBS/Fox
- The video was classified U (in the UK) and PG for 'Low Level Violence and Adult Themes' in Australia.
- It was released on 02/03/1992 in the UK, later that year in the America and on 20/10/1992 in Australia.
- The arrangement of the Doctor Who theme used for this and Years releases was originally arranged by Keff McCulloch for the 1989 album Doctor Who: Variations on a Theme.
- The link for Inferno was later included on the DVD.
- More of the Blue Peter fotage was later released on the The Three Doctors DVD.

In 1993 the BBC refused to fund production of The Davison Years and The McCoy Years.
