History

Several Doctor Who cast and crew members were born in Birmingham. These have included Annette Badland, Dave Martin and Samuel Anderson.

Cast members Mary Tamm and Peter Miles have previously worked with the Birmingham Repertory Theatre.

The studio filming for A Girl's Best Friend was unusually outside of London, at Birmingham's Pebble Mill Studios.
