S.A.3. was a submarine aircraft carrier with a crew of seventeen thousand. (PROSE: Stingray Attacked!) The captain sent out urgent calls for help when they encountered a monster jellyfish in the Pacific, after which they lost contact with the Stingray. There was little hope for a rescue bid (COMIC: Genesis of Evil) but Marineville begun an air search anyway. According to Commander Shore, it was the third carrier to have vanished within a month.
