Rita was Jeremy's adoptive mother, and Peter's wife.
Biography
In late 1967, she and Peter adopted newborn Jeremy in a hospital in Perth.
In December 2006, Rita and Peter sent Jeremy and his partner Paul Magrs a hamper from Marks & Spencer, filled with Christmassy foods and drinks. A few days later, they visited Paul and Jeremy in their home in Levenshulme.
Years later, in 2012, shortly after returning from another visit to Jeremy and Paul, Peter died, falling into his wife's arms mid sentence. (PROSE: The Story of Fester Cat)
