Frank Finlay CBE (6 August 1926-30 January 2016[1]) voiced something taking the form of Jacob Williams in the Big Finish Doctor Who audio story Bedtime Story. He was one of the few Oscar-nominated actors to appear in a Doctor Who production.

He was previously considered for the role of Orcini in Revelation of the Daleks. (TCH 41)

Frank Finlay starred as Porthos in the 1973 film The Three Musketeers. Genetic material from Finlay and his co-stars, Michael York, Oliver Reed and Richard Chamberlain, were used to create Reprises of Porthos, d'Artagnan, Athos and Aramis in Europa in the 33rd century. (PROSE: Managra)
