Mto

Mto (pronounced "Me-TOE") was a planet composed of the debris from crashed spacecraft created by Kamen Vers, which was formed around his own Movellan spaceship, gravity and centrifical force working to draw more and more ships in. Named after River Song, disguised as the Movellan woman who raised him as his "mother", Mto translated as "river" in Swahili.

By means of a tractor beam, Vers lured peaceful colonists to the makeshift world for samples of human skin, which he required in order to create a race of human-Movellan hybrids like himself. He taught the colonists how to grow crops and explore the interconnected ships that made up the planet. Camoflauged from the universe with an atmosphereic shield, any Movellans left long enough on the surface would go mad from a disease originating on Vers's original ship.

With the aid of the Tenth Doctor and Anya Kingdom, the colonists were evacuated in 4500. (AUDIO: The First Son) Not even hours later, the planet was destroyed by the Daleks in the midst of a skirmish during the Dalek-Movellan War. (AUDIO: The Dalek Defence)
