The Dalek Defence was the second story in the audio anthology Dalek Universe 3, produced by Big Finish Productions. It was written by Matt Fitton and featured David Tennant as the Tenth Doctor, Jane Slavin as Anya Kingdom and Terry Molloy as Davros.

It was the first of a two-part story, which concluded in The Triumph of Davros.

The Doctor and Anya are trapped between battling Dalek and Movellan forces and only the intervention of Earth can get them out of trouble.

But the humans have troubles too – and a very familiar prisoner. Davros.

• The Movellan Prime ship is the base of the First Movellan.
• Keelan is in the Earth Protection Corps while Vilsa is with the Transport Guild.
• Daleks can fly through space, but need to recalibrate first.

Notes

• The Doctor refers to the Movellans as "your plastic pals who are no fun to be with," paraphrasing the Sirius Cybernetics Corporation motto from The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
