This topic might have a better name.

This surely wasn't the actual title?

Talk about it here.

Blue Peter special 2005 was a Doctor Who-Blue Peter special skit. It is the only story outside of Doctor Who which featured Christopher Eccleston as the Ninth Doctor. It aired four days before Rose, pre-dating the first story of Doctor Who's revival and Eccleston's introduction to the series.

It was also the first story to feature the Ninth Doctor facing the Daleks as an enemy and, most importantly, was almost certainly the final TV story that Eccleston filmed as the Doctor.

Synopsis

The doctor defeats a dalek compost bin

Plot

The Doctor shows up in a Garden, where the hosts of Blue Peter are looking at a child’s compost bin Dalek, He has apparently been looking for it and is angry, but he doesn’t have his Sonic Screwdriver so he disintegrates it with his blue Peter badge after saying “Take That!”. He then leaves leaving the hosts and the kids sad that they didn’t get his autograph. A man walks up with a wheelbarrow wondering where it is.

References

  • In the lack of the sonic screwdriver, the Doctor used a Blue Peter badge to destroy the Dalek bin. It’s apparently activated by saying take that! And makes a wave appear that makes it disappear.
  • The Doctor seems to not have PTSD when seeing the Dalek therefore making the events of Dalek technically make no sense if this is canonical.
