A calendar showing November 1963. (TV: Remembrance of the Daleks)

11 November was the traditional date for Remembrance Day as observed on Earth and on human colonies, in which humankind remembered those lost in their many violent conflicts throughout history and promised to try to not do it again. (PROSE: Time Traveller's Diary) It began as Armistice Day, a day of remembrance that marked the ceasefire which ended World War I in 1918. (AUDIO: The White Room) Many decades later, Tim Latimer attended a local British Armistice Day ceremony near the end of his life. The Tenth Doctor and Martha Jones watched from afar as Latimer was honoured. (TV: The Family of Blood)

Five years prior to the original Armistice Day, John Smith and Nurse Redfern attended the Farringham village dance. The village was attacked by the Family of Blood that same night. (TV: Human Nature, The Family of Blood)

In 1959, Catherine Parsons was born. (PROSE: The Stone House)

According to Harry Sullivan, in 2014, HIV blood tests became compulsory in the UK. (PROSE: Damaged Goods)
