The Fifth Doctor intended to rendezvous with Peri and Erimem in 1485, but they got off the TARDIS in 1483. Waiting for them, the Doctor became embroiled in a series of events with King Richard III, whose nephews disappeared. (AUDIO: The Kingmaker) The Battle of Bosworth was fought in England on 22 August. (PROSE: Time Traveller's Diary) King Richard seemingly died in the battle, but according to one source his place was taken by William Shakespeare.
