Fisher King's invasion of Tivoli
Prior to 1980, the Fisher King and his armies invaded the planet Tivoli and enslaved the native Tivolians us for "ten glorious years" until they were liberated by the Arcateenians. However, the Tivolians proceeded to irritate the Arcateenians so much that they soon turned to enslave them too.
The body of the Fisher King, who had apparently died, was transported to Earth, which was designated as a "barren, savage outpost", in 1980 in a hearse by the Tivolian funeral director Albar Prentis. However, he was still alive and planned for his people to recover him by killing and turning people into ghosts transmitting coordinates to the planet and then waiting inside a stasis chamber. However, he was tricked by the Twelfth Doctor into thinking the Doctor would try to circumvent a future where he appeared to die and become one of the ghosts. The Doctor instead blew up a dam nearby and created a hologram replica of himself as a ghost in the future. The Fisher King got caught in the flood and was killed.
