Biography
Kenny went to Deffry Vale High School during the 2000s. (TV: School Reunion [+]Loading...["School Reunion (TV story)"]) He was not very popular with other students, (PROSE: Doctor Who: The Encyclopedia [+]Loading...["Doctor Who: The Encyclopedia (reference book)"]) but was friends with a girl called Melissa.
In 2007, the Krillitanes led by Lassar began infiltrating the high school. (TV: School Reunion [+]Loading...["School Reunion (TV story)"]) For medical reasons, (PROSE: Doctor Who: The Encyclopedia [+]Loading...["Doctor Who: The Encyclopedia (reference book)"]) Kenny wasn't allowed to eat chips provided as part of the compulsory school dinners, and therefore was not affected by the Krillitane oil. As a result, Kenny was not forced to work on the Krillitane plan to solve the Skasis Paradigm.
He briefly saw one of the Krillitanes, Wagner, in its true form. During the final stage of their plan, the Krillitanes locked Deffry Vale and forced the students inside to take part in their plan. Kenny, now sealed inside, told Mickey Smith about the hypnotised children through a door window. Mickey agreed to help and crashed Sarah Jane Smith's Volkswagen Passat into the building to get inside.
Kenny later met the Tenth Doctor, Rose Tyler, and Sarah Jane Smith. He helped them escape the Krillitanes after setting off the school fire alarms, (TV: School Reunion [+]Loading...["School Reunion (TV story)"]) realising that as bat-like creatures they would also have a wider range of hearing, and therefore be susceptible to loud noises. (PROSE: Doctor Who: The Encyclopedia [+]Loading...["Doctor Who: The Encyclopedia (reference book)"]) Later, with the school blown up by K9, he celebrated and revealed his role in the explosion to Melissa, and was hailed as a hero by her and the other students for his involvement.
