As the Daleks invaded his home planet of Gallifrey in the final days of the Time War, Axton was instructed by (WC: The Final Battle ^[+]Loading...["The Final Battle (webcast)"]) the War Doctor, (WC: The Final Battle ^[+]Loading...["The Final Battle (webcast)"], TV: The Day of the Doctor ^[+]Loading...["The Day of the Doctor (TV story)"]) who was waging a war, to present Leela of the Sevateem, a commander of the Gallifreyan forces, (WC: The Final Battle ^[+]Loading...["The Final Battle (webcast)"]) and former companion of the Doctor, (TV: The Face of Evil ^[+]Loading...["The Face of Evil (TV story)"] etc.) with a Wayfinder, letting her escape from (WC: The Final Battle ^[+]Loading...["The Final Battle (webcast)"]) the Doctor's removal of Gallifrey to a pocket universe.
