Hey, if you get a minute, could you move Automaton to Automaton (The Empty Planet) and change all the links. Thanks--

New Logo and DWA
I've unlocked my talk page. I think it was when my profile was being majorly vandalised I locked it, and the talk page was locked alongside it. So that's it open now. Thanks for the logo. I will indeed be using it. Thanks.
And I'm glad you think the idea to nuke the questions is fantastic. Would you like to become one of the admins? Because even if you're never there, if there's a major problem, it'll always he handy for you to have admin powers there.
We do actually have a policies page, although BC didn't seem to follow these either. He has since had all his powers removed and has been blocked. Now that I've reviewed the policies with just some minor changes in wordings, I'm deleting the pages.
If you'd like to help, I'm more than happy to make you an admin, but if you don't have time and would rather spend your time here, I completely understand. Thanks again. --The Thirteenth Doctor 17:26, September 6, 2011 (UTC)
- And, do you think a bot would be useful? I emailed wikia before and they said that there was no way to delete all of the questions on the site at once, and would have to be done by hand. But, would a bot be able to do that? How difficult would it be to set up? --The Thirteenth Doctor 18:11, September 6, 2011 (UTC)
Vandalism on the Chloe Webber page.
An anonymous user is using really...questionable and un-encylopedic language on the Chloe Webber page. Already reverted once, and was re-reverted. No idea if this is the right place or person to ask, but oh well. -- Tybort (talk page) 00:29, September 7, 2011 (UTC)
A little bit of help
Hey there Czech. I'm Jo, and I'm admin of the Left 4 Dead wiki. I must say, this is a really nice looking wiki site. The last major update Wikia distributed really messed up the Left 4 Dead wiki, so I was wondering if you'd be willing to teach me a thing or two about some of the coding used here. Please let me know, I'd like to make my wiki less of an eye sore. Thanks in advanced! {{SUBST:User:Jo The Marten/sig}} 00:55, September 8, 2011 (UTC)
- I particularly liked the templates for protected pages. (The little tabs on the left side of the frame). {{SUBST:User:Jo The Marten/sig}} 01:13, September 8, 2011 (UTC)
- Ah. Hm. Well I as going to use them for featured articles since our previous featured templates overlap over Wikia's stuff on the right side of the frame. Not sure how it messes up old browsers though. Hopefully no one will mind. {{SUBST:User:Jo The Marten/sig}} 01:57, September 8, 2011 (UTC)
- Oh yes, I can understand how that's an issue. I'm more than certain a few users will complain about monitor size being an issue. But I've still got a few more ideas that might work...Thank you so much for your help. I really appreciated it. :) From one Whovian to another. {{SUBST:User:Jo The Marten/sig}} 02:14, September 8, 2011 (UTC)

More cleanup of the Tersurus --> UNIT years Master
After your merger of Tersurus into UNIT years, the locked Template:Masters now needs the "Tersurus" bit to be removed. -- Tybort (talk page) 02:04, September 8, 2011 (UTC)
CC-BY-SA & the New Editor
I did look briefly into the CC BY SA 2.0, at least one other wiki has it in use. But if you think this isn't enough then I'll send off a report.
New Editor
I missed the preview button, then I realised it's white, I'd imagine that this is part of the problematic change over.
Do Wikia think? Ever? Or do they just keep adding bad features?
Although, I didn't like "Wiki skin"/"Oasis". and grew to live with it. Being able to shove away the right hand side thing is good. But not being able to scroll the whole page, bad. I like to have what I'm focusing on in the middle of the screen
Yes, I shall send off a report, tomorrow, when I'm less likely to rant/swear at them, at the moment I want to mess around and see the extent of their thoughtlessness. --Tangerineduel / talk 13:55, September 8, 2011 (UTC)
- I'm going to tackle the less complicated issue, that I already tackled last message and that's of CC 2.0. Don't worry about it, the feature that exists now where you can upload pics or grab them from Flikr (which is incidentally where I got all the images that have the CC 2.0 license on them from) attaches the CC 2.0 licence to it. And while we know Wikia makes some idiotic decisions I don't think they'd make this sort of mistake.
- Now onto the bigger more complicated question that I want to avoid.
- The switch to Oasis didn't make me want to leave, countless other things didn't make me want to leave.
- This does, it's made the editor so unsuable I'm seriously thinking of just going and I dunno, editing Wikipedia where they don't make these stupid design decisions.
- I really feel for you, considering I don't know how many days (weeks/months?) that you've spent trying to make this site look as good as it did.
- I think we need two forum topics, one Tech notes/Important messages that is just an announcement for:
- Stuff that doesn't work.
- Stuff that partially works.
- Stuff that hasn't changed.
- Workarounds.
- Other stuff.
- Then another forum topic for reports with the same basic headings; Not working, Partially working, workarounds.
- We should also have a link to the Special:Contact page so people can go straight to them and to Sarah Manley's blog page as well.
- Both should be just reports not discussions, maybe a third for I dunno people to discuss it?
- I sometimes think frustration is good, in that I hope it will force editors to put that frustration into words and send it to Wikia, or alternatively it will drive people away and therefore show Wikia there's been a drop in traffic because of this new change. Or is this too harsh an approach?
- Monobook is an option (weren't wikia going to turn it off at some point?), but I don't think it's a valid one for us to send anyone to. It should be the very last resort.
- Firstly I think you need to absolve yourself of all responsibility :). Then make up a big sign pointing towards Wikia central, and then kick back with a cold/hot beverage. Hopefully this will make the headache go away.
- I don't think we need to get too involved with the user fallout. As I've said two forums or three, the third would be a venting one I'd say. Wikia central for more information and their forums.
- I think if we have things like that in place where people can see what isn't and what is working and that we didn't just turn it on for shits and giggles and that it's another of Wikia's "quirks" of trying to make the sites under its bosom function better for "new editors" (its reason for most changes) while fraking around with the user experience of everyone else. Then I think editors will understand. --Tangerineduel / talk 13:42, September 9, 2011 (UTC)
Pictures
If you're referring to the Silent and Uncle images, then I didn't upload those. I only got as far as Nephew on that page. I added copyright to all of the images I uploaded, as I did that on 30th August, when it was necessary to add copyright using the uploader. D0ct0r11 • 18:29: Thu 9 Sep 2011
Ah, I see. I got the impression that you were referring to photos uploaded yesterday. I'll be sure to use Special:MultipleUpload in future. D0ct0r11 • 21:58: Thu 9 Sep 2011
Re: Chat
To answer your question, what I meant by "the code almost worked" was that while it did align the the TOC, it still pushed the rest of the content beneath it. However, I've found that making an extra box underneath the infobox as part of the template prevents that problem. So thanks for helping me!

Forum fault
I seem to be experiencing a very strange bug, whenever I try to publish a new topic at the forums (inc. The Howling), I'm just redirected a search page. Do you know why this is happening?--Skittles the hog - talk 19:00, September 9, 2011 (UTC)
Categories
In regards to the category comment you left on my page mentioning bots - the main thing I was doing was removing duplicate categories. For example, pages that were in "Category: Stories set in London" and "Category: Stories set in England". If there's a way a bot can go and do this for multiple categories - great. One thing to watch out for, is what Mini-Mitch said on my talk page about pages occasionally needing to be in both a category and its sub-category (eg. The End of Time, where parts are set in London and parts elsewhere in England). If you're able to program a bot that meets these requirements then great. Let me know if you're able so I know I can stop making these sorts of edits.

Infobox Actor
Hi, I'm back to pester you some more with {{Infobox Actor}}. Actually it's a very small bug; when the Official site field and/or the Twitter field are filled in but IMDb is not, the link gets thrown to the left edge of the page like so. It's not a huge urgent deal since pretty much everyone has an IMDb, but I thought I should bring it to your attention. Rob T Firefly 12:17, September 11, 2011 (UTC)
Customized Search Field
Hi CzechOut! I really like the customized search field on this wiki and want to have one on the Hogwarts RPG Wiki. Do you think you could tell me how to add one? Thanks! HeadTalk 00:24,9/12/2011
UNIT dating controversy
Now that I've considered things, I suppose that the reference to the "UNIT era" doesn't really add anything to the UNIT dating controversy page, though I have one question: where does it say the events of DW: The Invasion is set in 1979? Even the 1979 and The Invasion pages don't say or imply it. -- Tybort (talk page) 17:22, September 12, 2011 (UTC)
- In fact, the Continuity section of The Invasion states "late 1960s or 1970s". -- Tybort (talk page) 17:33, September 12, 2011 (UTC)
WikiaOasis skin labeling
Hi, I noticed you edited MediaWiki:New-look to be "Wikia — sometimes called Oasis – skin". Now, if you look closely, there's first — (mdash) and then – (ndash). I assume it wasn't intention to be mixing them like this, thus I'm letting you know of this. (: –Tm_T (Talk) 18:16, September 12, 2011 (UTC)
One for the bot
Hey, a user has moved The Star Beast, The Dogs of Doom, The Time Witch and The Iron Legion to Doctor Who and the Star Beast, Doctor Who and the Dogs of Doom, Doctor Who and the Time Witch and Doctor Who and the Iron Legion respectively. Of course, they didn't have a care to remember the links, except the ones in the template. I don't suppose you could work your magic and switch them over. Most grateful--Skittles the hog - talk 19:53, September 12, 2011 (UTC)
MediaWiki:Common.css font size
The changes you have made to this have increased the font size on this wiki to the point where I have to zoom out in order to be able to read it. Please make the needed corrections as soon as you can. Thank you. Doug86 01:47, September 15, 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks for fixing it, it's much more readable now. Doug86 02:03, September 15, 2011 (UTC)
More racist vandalism
Since you seem to be the go-to guy for dealing with racist comments, here's another one: They Keep Killing Suzie (though it's thankfully not been edited back-and-forth). -- Tybort (talk page) 19:55, September 15, 2011 (UTC)
'Greeks Bearing Gifts' vandalism
My apologies for getting in touch over such a annoying issue, but I've just fixed (or attempted to fix) the 'Greeks Bearing Gifts' page after the article suffered some major vandalism, with the entire article being changed to a load of racist and inappropriate remarks. May I push for some kind of blocks against the IP that made those edits? Once again, apologies for getting in touch for this kind of action Baziel 20:01, September 15, 2011 (UTC)
Sometimes I wonder why...
Just thought I'd run this past you as clicking support makes you jump through a few extra hoops than the last time I did it, and you've been around the 'blocking people' forums lately re BC.
"WhoDoctor" Doctor Who Wiki. User:CharmeRuler, the only user who's editing this "wiki" left a request on my talk page (and Clone gunner comanda jedi and your bot's talk pages) asking how to create templates (I rolled back the edit to the bot's talk page so the redirect continues to function).
Do we just contact wikia staff to request a removal/deleting of the wiki? The wiki appears to have been created a few days ago and the reading listed for the move to "Doctor Who Wiki" is "SEO". The user has already been blocked from the Charmed Wiki. --Tangerineduel / talk 13:37, September 17, 2011 (UTC)
TOC limit
Hey, I created {{TOC limit}} but it needs adapting into the css. Sorry to burden you with additional work, but we do need something to control these unruly contents. There's no rush of course, so please don't go out of your way. Thanks--Skittles the hog - talk 10:40, September 18, 2011 (UTC)
- p.s If/When you think its a load of rubbish feel free to punch it in the face.
Please tell me how to get a bot
A while back, I removed examples pertaining to the Miracle Day Torchwood allies, enemies and personnel from the categories Torchwood Three allies, Torchwood Three enemies and Torchwood Three personnel. I did state my reason quite clearly: "Whatever we call it, that Torchwood certainly isn't Torchwood Cardiff.", which Redranger241 has since added them all back, with no apparent reason given. Am I seriously missing something? I understand whether it's part of the Institute has been up for debate, but it's not Torchwood Three at all. Should I talk with the aforementioned editor? I'd probably have asked for the admins' advice earlier, but I was just completely baffled by these edits. -- Tybort (talk page) 15:40, September 19, 2011 (UTC)
- Relatedly, people have been adding them to the main Torchwood Three page, too. -- Tybort (talk page) 18:55, September 19, 2011 (UTC)
- Well, even if you have a point of simply changing the categories to simply "Torchwood enemies" etc., Jack's Torchwood is pretty autonomous, so I think it makes sense for the Cardiff branch's history and ideals to be separated as the page Torchwood Three at the very least (and yes, I realise it's usually simply called "Torchwood"). -- Tybort (talk page) 18:08, September 20, 2011 (UTC)
Problems with Monobook changes
With the current changes made to Monobook, all the text is in lower case and the toolbar to the side is at the bottom of the page instead of to the right. Please fix as soon as you can. Thank you. Doug86 06:43, September 20, 2011 (UTC)

Nintendo
Seem to be having a little trouble with CharmeRuler on the Nintendo page, who is confusing "Cultural references from the real world" pages with pages that have a Real World POV, apparently because the phrase "Real world" is in both. I explained my reasoning, but he just added his old bit back. -- Tybort (talk page) 23:00, September 21, 2011 (UTC)
Sorry about that!
Thanks for the heads up! I just figured something like salt wouldn't come up enough to warrant its own page, but then again if porcupine has a page, then I guess anything's fair game. Memnarc 06:40, September 23, 2011 (UTC)
Site behaving weirdly - Firefox
I'm seeing just the text for all the templates in Firefox. I've done the usual; cleared the cache etc. It's made no difference. In Opera and Safari none of the images for the real world templates show through and none of the glowyness (though I seem to recall that being an issue). But both are functioning a lot better than Firefox is at the moment.
I also couldn't leave a message for you under Firefox (it just went to "publishing" and then went to preview instead.
Is this just part of the on-going Wikia-based issues that's been going on for the past few days or something else? Thanks. --Tangerineduel / talk 14:53, September 23, 2011 (UTC)
Adding the same category multiple times
Adding "Stories released in 1973" twice was a complete accident. Bare in mind that is past one o'clock in the morning for me. I have to admit that I was sort of on autopilot as regards adding categories to pages and must have simply forgotten to go to the next page after posting "Stories released in 1973". I can assure you that it was nothing more than an honest mistake. I admit that I may have added the same category more than once to other pages today due to tiredness and/or carelessness but it was certainly not a conscious choice. If so, I apologise but I'm not nor have I ever been a cheater. It's just not in me, frankly.
P.S. I neither need nor want extra points for the Game of Rassilon as it'd be unfair to other users. GusF 00:17, September 24, 2011 (UTC)
- Just add a look at The Amateur and, as it turns out, I didn't even add "Stories released in 1973" twice after all. I added "Stories released in 1973" and then "Stories released in 1974" as the story was published between December 1973 and January 1974. GusF 00:22, September 24, 2011 (UTC)
- Well, I'm glad that we've gotten that misunderstanding cleared up. I'll try to be more observant in the future when adding categories. To answer your question, it was seemingly reprinted as a Fourth Doctor story in issues 1390 to 1396 of TV Comic. In other words, from 4th August to 15th September 1978.--GusF 01:05, September 24, 2011 (UTC)
Siggie Help?
Hey, CzechOut. I customized my time stamp on a different wiki, and I was wondering about how you customized your time stamp to such an extent (borders, colours, etc.) without putting it on your /sig page. I couldn't fit all of my customization on my custom signature box on my preferences, so I put it on my /sig page, but now I realize that it'll change every time the time changes, instead of staying at the time when I signed my message. Help? ~Wildheart (talk)
P.S. I'd sign properly, but the way my signature is set up is slightly different on the other wiki, so it wouldn't work.
Awesome. Thank you so much. I figured it out :3 Also, how come you use two subpages for everything? On the wiki I use most frequently (Warriors Wiki) we only have one subpage, and we put something like this up: {{SUBST:Nosubst|User:Wildheart7/Sig}}. To me, it just seems more complicated to have two subpages; how come? ~Wildheart (talk)
Oh, well, the "Nosubst" after the "SUBST:" makes sure it looks just like a template instead of all that extensive coding. It works just the same as having two subpages. ~Wildheart (talk)
And another
I've created another achievement track over at the test wiki. Could you take a look? Here's a short cut: http://tardistest.wikia.com/wiki/Special:AchievementsCustomize Thanks--Skittles the hog - talk 17:03, September 24, 2011 (UTC)
