Alexander Shuttleworth was a human who lived in the Norfolk town of Farringham. When the Doctor and Benny were there in 1914, she rented a room from him. They sometimes had lunch together. Before Benny leaves, she finds out that Alexander is gay. He and his lover, Richard Hadleman, lived together for many years. (PROSE: Human Nature)
