11 November was the traditional date for Armistice Day, a day of remembrance that marked the ceasefire which ended World War I in 1918. Many decades later, Tim Latimer, attended a local British Armistice Day ceremony near the end of his life. The Tenth Doctor and Martha Jones watched from afar as Lattimer was honoured. (TV: The Family of Blood)
A few years prior to the first Armistice Day — in 1913 - John Smith and Nurse Redfern attended the Farringham village dance. The village was attacked by the Family of Blood that same night. (TV: Human Nature, The Family of Blood)
