Punching or to punch was the act of physically striking someone or something with a hand rolled up into a fist.

While the Tenth Doctor disapproved of punching, and violence in general, (TV: The Next Doctor) the Doctor's twelfth incarnation was more prone to the act, especially when angry about his friends.
