Titan Declares War! was the second short story printed in TV Century 21 to contain elements from the Doctor Who universe. Framed as the front page of an in-universe periodical, the titular article instead made reference to the Stingray content in the issue with a smaller piece tying-in to The Daleks comic story Power Play.

- The Marineville correspondent writes his report in an underground air-attack shelter sixty feet below the ground. Overhead, aircraft from Marineville's own aircraft carriers are firing rockets into the surface installations.
