On 27 April, the following important behind-the-scenes events were known to have occurred:
- 1966 - Pre-filming for The Savages began at Ealing Studios. (TCH 8)
- 1967 - Pre-filming for The Evil of the Daleks continued on Stage 3A/B of Ealing Studios. (TCH 10)
- 1970 - Director Douglas Camfield suffered a minor heart attack during the studio recording of episode one of Inferno, ending his involvement on that serial. Producer Barry Letts had to immediately take over as director.
- 1988 - Studio filming for Remembrance of the Daleks took place at BBC Television Centre Studio 8. (Doctor Who The Handbook: The Seventh Doctor)
- 2005 - The Big Finish audio story Scaredy Cat was recorded at the Moat Studios.
- 2010 - The Big Finish audio story Project: Destiny was recorded at the Moat Studios.
- 2015 - The Big Finish audio stories Foreshadowing and The Man Who Wasn't There was recorded at the Moat Studios.
- 2017 - Big Finish's The War Master audio anthology Only the Good was recorded at the Moat Studios.
- 2018 - The Big Finish audio stories The Eleventh Doctor Chronicles and Ravenous 2 were recorded.
- 2020 - The multi-platform story Time Lord Victorious was announced.
- 2022 - Big Finish announced the Classic Doctors, New Monsters audio anthologies The Stuff of Nightmares and Broken Memories.
