Gaia

Gaia was a primordial goddess, considered the grandmother of the gods. Though the genealogical details were lost to time, the creation of the cosmos — which somehow involved the entity Chaos — also involved either Gaia, her daughter Tethys, or Tethys's daughter Euronyme. (PROSE: Wandering Stars) The Titan Cronus was revered as "Gaia's saviour, father-slayer". (PROSE: Fallen Gods) Gaia's descendants, the Olympian gods, dwelt in Greek Space, a dimension composed of metaphor. (PROSE: Wandering Stars)

When several of the gods decided to align themselves to the planets of the Solar System, Gaia took Earth, while Pan took its twin planet El Mundo. Its inhabitants, the Satyrmen, developed a key that could open a gateway to the gods' realm; Pan shared this technology with the other gods, creating a key for each one, including Gaia. In 1986, she was living in the coastal town of Nerja in southern Spain, running a tavern called Gaia's Bar. (PROSE: The Rise & Fall of Señor 105)

Appearance

During her years as a bartender, Gaia was tall, with olive-coloured skin and a cascade of dark brown ringlets. She had a deep, amiable voice, and an obscure accent; when asked about her country of origin, she always replied that she was from "everywhere". (PROSE: The Rise & Fall of Señor 105)
