On 30 September, the following important behind-the-scenes events were known to have occurred:
- 1963 - After viewing the pilot episode, Sydney Newman officially rejected the Pilot Episode in a lunch meeting with Verity Lambert and Waris Hussein and authorised a remounting of the episode. According to Howe and Walker, this was a contingency that had been planned for.
- 1967 - Episode four of The Abominable Snowmen was recorded at Lime Grove Studios D. (TCH 11)

- 2009 - Recording for Thin Ice took place at The Moat Studios.
- 2011 - Recording for the first series of Counter-Measures took place at The Moat Studios.
- 2012 - Big Finish's Bernice Summerfield audio anthology New Frontiers was recorded at the Moat Studios.
- 2016 - Recording for Charlotte Pollard: Series Two took place at The Soundhouse.
- 2017 - Big Finish announced the Short Trips audio stories The Siege of Big Ben and Flight Into Hull!.
- 2020 - The Big Finish audio anthology Forged in Fire was recorded.
- 2020 - The Big Finish audio story Genetics of the Daleks was recorded remotely.
