Jim Irving was the owner of the house the Eighth Doctor, Liv Chenka and Helen Sinclair visited with Harry Price to see Gef. He wanted to impress them. She was chastised after Harry thought that Gef was a fake. He was possessed by the Sleeth, but the Doctor with Gef's help remove it. (AUDIO: The Dalby Spook)
