Cassandra (short story)
Cassandra was the first instalment in Things to do with a Defeated Enemy and seventh overall part of Doctor Who Adventures #1, published by BBC Magazines in April 2006.[source needed] It was written by Paul Lang and illustrated by Christopher Cooper.
This instalment focused on Lady Cassandra and a humorous potential use of her as a beach towel.
Plot
The Ninth Doctor and Rose Tyler met Lady Cassandra before her demise, when she exploded. This is unfortunate as Lady Cassandra could have made a good beach towel. In this hypothetical chain of events, one must be careful not to wash the Cassandra towel in hot water to ensure she doesn't shrink and to not lose her at the beach, as she would blend into the sand and take the opportunity to escape...
