Hugo Gamaliel

Hugo Gamaliel was the owner of a 24th century corporation which he realised would be best served if he broke away from the control of Earth to avoid Earth's excessive taxation. He thus declared Stanturus Three independent and allegedly won a major victory by defeating the Knights of Jeneve at Bocaro in the Tersalian system with the Gamalian Gambit.
Gamaliel was wrongly remembered as a Robin Hood-like figure, an image which he actively encouraged. The Knights planted evidence that he was chairman and chief executive of BrokTek, a company specialising in virtual reality and bio-experiential games, some of a pornographic nature.
