- The Second Doctor, Polly, Ben and Jamie visited France during its occupation by Nazi Germany. (CC: Resistance)
October
- The Seventh Doctor and Ace arrived at Colditz Castle and were taken prisoner by the Nazis. Elizabeth Klein, a time traveller from the 1965 of an alternative timeline in which Nazi Germany won the Second World War, arrived in Colditz Castle using the Doctor's TARDIS. She intended to bring the Doctor back with her to her own time. (BFA: Colditz)
June
- Winston Churchill is kidnapped by galaxy showman Vorgenson and is transported to London 2010, where he is used to attract the attention of The Eleventh Doctor. When The Doctor defeats Vorgenson, Churchill is returned to his original time.
December
