Mrs Polly was Charles Crookshap's housekeeper and cook. She had heard something in the back garden which spooked her. She told the Fifth Doctor this and he became worried. She felt her deceased husband as a presence. She thought that the Doctor was running from something and told him that it might not have been a good idea. (AUDIO: Thin Time)
