Publisher's summary[[edit] | [edit source]]

When Noah and Jenny mosey on into the Old West, it's surely a coincidence that Jenny looks exactly like the town's most notorious outlaw. But as they'll discover, anyone who crosses 'Calamity Jenny' suffers an unlucky fate – and it's usually fatal.

Worldbuilding[[edit] | [edit source]]

  • Jenny is in possession of a crystal that drains the wearer and those around them of their good luck. The "unlucky charm" ends up in the possession of an eye witness who is desperately trying to give it away after feeling its effects. This new owner states that the owner of such charm tends to end up dead.

Notes[[edit] | [edit source]]

  • Similar to how the Torchwood audio series had remixes for their theme tunes to represent their settings, such as the Victorian theme and the 1950s theme, Joe Kraemer was given the chance to recreate the Jenny theme in the style of that of a Western film.
  • According to the behind the scenes, the title "Calamity Jenny" existed long before the storyline.
