Fu Manchu's son considered Sinister Brooding to be an event best carried out in the season summer.
He noted on his blog that which three months he spent in the year 2008 largely depended on his purpose for being there, and he visited in summer if he wanted to carry out Sinister Brooding (although he also noted that he preferred to visit 2008 for those weeks which were set aside for the shooting of the Famous Grouse).
