You may be looking for the series or other incarnations of Auteur.

The original incarnation of the renegade Homeworlder later known as Auteur grew up on the Homeworld.

Many regenerations later, Godfather Auteur began to claim, and as a result retroactively actualised, the idea that he had been loomed as a Mapper on the early Homeworld. However, it was generally understood that Auteur and his cousin Gideon had "actually" been of a much later generation, and been among Grandfather Paradox's first recruits when he founded House Paradox on the Homeworld (PROSE: Going Once, Going Twice [+]Loading...["Going Once, Going Twice (short story)"]) a year before the Decayed Master's assassination of the President. Per the Goddess of Gendar's recollection, her looming as an actual child had been "something of an experiment", with most of her kind still being loomed as physical adults at the time. (PROSE: White Canvas [+]Loading...["White Canvas (novel)"]) The young Homeworlder quickly realised that they could abuse the Observer Effect to make anything real if they looked in the right place. (PROSE: Going Once, Going Twice [+]Loading...["Going Once, Going Twice (short story)"]) Gideon recalled her bad habit of writing fanfiction about real people she knew, making people she disliked have bad things happen to them.
