'''{{PAGENAME}}''' was a human accountant who lived on the outskirts of London, and worked in the city centre in her mid-twenties, which was in the late 20th century.
On her first Christmas after she moved out of her parents' house, she awoke to a large egg under her Christmas tree. Confused, she went to make breakfast, and turned on the radio to reports of evacuation: Dinosaurs have appeared and are wreaking havoc across the city. Grabbing the egg and preparing to evacuate, she experiences three different versions of reality, where a different dinosaur species attacks her in each one. She dies in each version of reality, finally waking up in the Cretaceous era. She is discovered by Tirion, who appears as a large dinosaur, and takes her back to a Time anchor, inside which he has parked his Timeship. Over the course of several weeks, she gets Tirion to open up, and the two become friends. She cares for him when he becomes injured after a Tyrannosaurus rex attacks him, as well as making him a Snow globe as a Christmas present.
Eventually, Commander Azdrin of the Fleet of Causal Initiators finds them, and she places the egg into the Anchor, destroying it and allowing her and Tirion to escape. Tirion offers for Rosanna to come and travel with him, but she refuses, stating that he "had all that stuff happen to you and still came out on the other side willing to help me", but that's "a strength I just don't have". Parting ways on good terms, she snaps back to her correct time and place because the egg (a paradox that was keeping her there) was gone. She woke up back on Christmas morning, recalling the entire event but finding that the dinosaur-invasion realities had been averted, presumably thanks to Tirion. The egg is still there, however, and hatches into a baby raptor. (PROSE:The Dinosaur in the Snow (short story)).
