History[[edit]]

By 2005, Mrs Baggs's husband listened to "radio dramas", which she thought was silly. On 2 April, writing on the Who is Doctor Who? website, she dismissed the "strange disembodied voice" that many had claimed to hear as coming from these radio dramas. By 1 June 2019, a Doctor X VHS belonging to Giles had the BBV logo on the bottom of the spine. (WC: Varunastra [+]Loading...["Varunastra (webcast)"])

Behind the scenes[[edit]]

  • While unnamed in The Doctor Was Involved in the Dummy Massacre, it is pretty evident that the mention of Mrs Baggs's husband (aka Bill Baggs) listening to radio dramas is a reference to BBV Productions.
  • Later, Varunastra confirmed that BBV Productions exists within the DWU, although this story had some ambiguity about the nature of the company, as it could mean that the in-universe BBV produced the Doctor X series in the 1950s or were simply responsible for distribution of the VHS tapes.
