Maloney's associate Ralph, unable to cope from the madness, shot him. Gwen rescued Geraint from being incinerated in Cowbridge, destroying the facility in the process and breaking the coverup of the Modules, but as she arrived back in California, she learnt that Rhys and her mother and daughter had been taken and that these people demanded Jack. (TW: The Middle Men)
  • Gwen followed the mysterious group's orders and tied up Jack; taking him to Mesa, California. In Wales, a team of police led by Sgt. Davidson rescued Gwen's family from being held hostage.
