Notes[[edit] | [edit source]]

  • Lost Warriors notable contains the first story to pit the Ninth Doctor against the Cybermen in any performed medium. However, the Cybermen were not originally included as part of any plan originally envisioned for the box set. They became involved at John Dorney's suggestion as he continued to develop and pitch ideas for his storyline for Monsters in Metropolis (VOR 152)
  • Although the synopsis claims that the story is set in 1927, Monsters in Metropolis actually establishes its setting as August 1925. Likewise in the real world Metropolis was filmed in 1925 but released in 1927.
  • The box set was released on the 58th anniversary of Doctor Who.
