Midas the Cat, or simply Midas, was a cat and the companion of the Time Lord Castellan Casmus in his otherwise-solitary existence on Gallifrey in a version of reality where the Time Lords had become all but extinct during the Seventh Doctor's lifetime.

Ace met and befriended Midas after Casmus rescued her from a Canisian ship and took her to Gallifrey. He was in attendance when Ace woke up to be offered knitbone-based medicinal paste from Casmus. Although a cat and a resident of Gallifrey, whether Midas is properly speaking a Gallifreyan cat is not clarified within WC: Death Comes to Time [+]Loading...["Death Comes to Time (webcast)"], with it remaining possible that Casmus adopted him during his travels.
