While making an announcement for a lost girl called Bobbie to find the Lost Parent Point, the "voice of the Daleks" was killed by a hypnotised Georgette Gold, to allow the Dalek Simulacrum of Specimen Nine Lambda to hypnotise the rest of the Dalek Dome from his control room. Though not stated to be such, the man is clearly Nicholas Briggs, a prolific real-world voice actor who has portrayed the voice of the Daleks for both Big Finish Productions and the revival series of Doctor Who.
