Robin Stuart

From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference

Robin Stuart was a friend of Colin Frazer.

Biography[[edit] | [edit source]]

In the spring (PROSE: Arc of Infinity [+]Loading...["Arc of Infinity (novelisation)"]) of 1983, (AUDIO: The Waters of Amsterdam [+]Loading...["The Waters of Amsterdam (audio story)"]) Robin went to explore Europe (PROSE: Arc of Infinity [+]Loading...["Arc of Infinity (novelisation)"]) with Colin Frazer, a friend whom he had never led astray. Their holiday took them to Amsterdam, (TV: Arc of Infinity [+]Loading...["Arc of Infinity (TV story)"]) where Robin's passport was stolen from him one night at a café. Although Colin advised him to inform the British Embassy, he was afraid that he would be reprimanded, made to fill in forms and deported and decided to put it off.

Robin came across the Frankendael crypt whilst wandering (PROSE: Arc of Infinity [+]Loading...["Arc of Infinity (novelisation)"]) and took Colin there to spend the night after finding that all the hostels were full. After Colin came under Omega's hypnosis, he fled the crypt and later reported him missing, but the police were unconcerned and he met with Tegan Jovanka at Schiphol Airport to explain what had happened to her cousin. He took her to the crypt where they were attacked by the Ergon and confined to Omega's TARDIS until the Fifth Doctor and Nyssa saved them. (TV: Arc of Infinity [+]Loading...["Arc of Infinity (TV story)"])

Robin took Colin, whom Omega had released from his control, to the hospital (PROSE: Arc of Infinity [+]Loading...["Arc of Infinity (novelisation)"]) where he had to convalesce for several days. (TV: Arc of Infinity [+]Loading...["Arc of Infinity (TV story)"]) They then intended to return to their respective homes. (PROSE: Arc of Infinity [+]Loading...["Arc of Infinity (novelisation)"])

Personality[[edit] | [edit source]]

Robin was, by nature, a worrier (PROSE: Arc of Infinity [+]Loading...["Arc of Infinity (novelisation)"]) and was convinced that he would be deported if the Dutch police learnt that he had lost his passport. (TV: Arc of Infinity [+]Loading...["Arc of Infinity (TV story)"])
