History

On Marinus, a defendant was found guilty and sentenced prior to their trial and given the opportunity to present a defence to stay the sentence. Ian Chesterton was sentenced to death for murder, but he was proven innocent thanks to the First Doctor, Susan Foreman and Barbara Wright.
