On 13 February 2024, it was announced via the official The Minister of Chance Twitter account that pre-production on a television series based on the Minister of Chance was in development.[1]
On 1 May, an official hand-painted artwork of Kitty by Dave Palser was revealed on the The Minister of Chance Patreon.[2]
On 6 May, an official hand-painted artwork of the Minister by Dave Palser was revealed on the The Minister of Chance Patreon.[3]
On 13 May, the The Minister of Chance Patreon revealed a collection of new logos for the new TV series, also noting that the new logo is far from finished.[4]
On 20 May, a second official hand-painted artwork of the Minister by Dave Palser was revealed on the The Minister of Chance Patreon.[5]
On 28 May, the The Minister of Chance Patreon revealed an image of the Minister and Kitty within the logo card[6] and the official concept art sketch for the previously released artwork of Kitty.[7]
On 3 June, a first look concept art piece of a smog-filled city by Benjamin Sommeregger was revealed on the The Minister of Chance Patreon.[8]
On 2 September, Dan Freeman posted an apology message on the The Minister of Chance Patreon, in which he apologized for not being actively updating on the series, reasoning that work on his other project, the film Hold Excalibur, was taking up too much of his time, but promised to return to The Minister of Chance at given opportunity.[9]

On 14 November 2014, it was teased by Dan Freeman via the official The Minister of Chance Tumblr that a Season 2 of the highly successful The Minister of Chance audio series was in development, due to be released in 2015. However, nothing came of this.[10]

A video adaptation of the audio series prologue was released on 17 October 2014[11] to promote a Kickstarter for a full film adaptation of The Minister of Chance,[12] but it ultimately failed to meet its fundraising goal.[13]
